Facebook Post - Becoming Disciples of Christ

One of my favorite scriptures of late is found in chapter 5 of 3 Nephi in the Book of Mormon. In 3 Nephi, Mormon is writing the history of his people and who he is. In verse 13, he says "Behold, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I have been called of him to declare his word among his people, that they might have everlasting life." (3 Nephi 5:13). As a missionary, I have been called to declare the word of God to everyone I meet for the next two years. However, we can all become disciples of Christ through our thoughts and actions. Continue trying to be like Him and become a disciple of Christ through service and loving those around you unconditionally just like the Savior would!
