Facebook Post - Captain Moroni

One of my heroes is Captain Moroni. He was the captain over the Nephite army towards the end of the book of Alma in the Book of Mormon. He was such an awesome leader and man that "if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men" (Alma 48:17). He's one of my heroes because he stands up for what he believes in and is willing to defend his beliefs. In the picture, he is holding the Title of Liberty, where he wrote what his beliefs and what he would fight for when those beliefs were threatened. We live in a world where everyone's beliefs are being torn down and we need to be willing to stand up for what we believe in. Stand up and be a Moroni!
